The girls fenced really well today. After the first meeting with them we went back and worked harder. Our motto is nothing beats hard work ? and they really rose to it today.

The girls really gelled as a team and pushed each other this past week. Today at the meet they challenged each other to better each of their performances.

The girls' confidence has been up ever since the Tri-Central loss, really. We still played with Jeff for three-and-a-half quarters. McCutcheon only beat us by eight. And then we went to Benton Central and played pretty well for most of the game. I think a combination of all those teams will help.

For instance, Prada is in the news today because one of their stores caught on fire. That's probably 30 points because it's in the headline and the lead.

It's the closest meet we've had in quite a while. They fenced really well, especially in epee.

This is the fifth year in a row that we've won and it's the highest number of points we've ever received. Our previous high was 35 points. I've never seen such domination like that before. It was a performance beyond my wildest imagination.
