The girls look forward to playing Liberty because we have played them in an indoor league the past two years. We feel like we've battled them quite a bit. It's developed into a little bit of a rivalry because they're a newer school also.

I told the girls that we expect to compete in every single game. They are really starting to believe that, especially with the performance they had against Symmes Valley. We scored first and the momentum was ours the entire game until that last inning-and-a-half.

Taking them on a trip will help build team chemistry to the next level. The girls bring a lot of heart and a lot of enthusiasm. Anytime you can build on what they've brought to the table and do some kind of team building it will be a good experience for them.

The improvements we've made in the past week have been dramatic. I think once the girls get a couple wins under their belt, they'll start getting some more self-confidence and believing they can win.

We're going to miss these girls a lot because of what they've done for the team over the past four years. They've worked really hard in their four seasons here, and they've brought a lot of leadership to this team.

The girls just couldn't seem to get past the mud. The mud stopped every shot cold.
