The girls that we have on defense right now are quick and they react well. I think speed-wise we can match up with some of these large schools that we'll be playing.

A lot of things we're working on right now is filling gaps and emphasizing skills that need to be worked on.

We didn't play much better than we did against Lincoln North Star on Monday (an 11-0 loss). However, many of our mistakes in both games stem from fatigue. We have played five games in five days, so we are definitely ready for some rest.

We really wanted to focus on defense right out of the locker room and the girls stepped it up in the third. We stayed on pace and the free throws were big for us, too.

The first half everything was going good. The girls were playing good defense and our offense was there and we were utilizing Megan (Riley, center).

It helps to have five girls to set to, but she plays good defense and makes good decisions.
