The gloom-and-doom predictions about service clubs dying are overblown. There is no way that a club like Rotary is going to go away.

We need to do a better job of recruiting new members and informing people about what we do.

The choice of offering SMS [Short Messaging Service] and USSD [Unstructured Supplementary Service Data] as the primary interface for our customers, combined with the use of open-source software, allowed FNB to create a cost-effective platform at a fraction of the cost of traditional mobile banking platforms.
