The government cannot create wealth, but it can create the environment ... for prosperity,

The only time it is okay to be rich is when everyone has enough.

Wealth and prosperity determines man's status and capability in the society and so it has it's own importance which can not be overlooked.

The less government interferes with private pursuits, the better for general prosperity

The Jews understand that the blessing of wealth was dependant upon obedience to the law and covenant. The laws in the Torah, if followed, would bring blessings.5 The Tanakh says, “How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands…they themselves will be wealthy.” (NLT, Psalm 112:1, 3) "If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.” (NLT, Job 36:11)

An attitude to life which seeks fulfilment in the
single-minded pursuit of wealth - in short, materialism - does not fit into this
world, because it contains within itself no limiting principle, while the
environment in which it is placed is strictly limited.
