The governor understands that the contract allows Penguins owners to take the team to another city if that is their desire, and he is doing everything in his power to stop that from happening.

There is no functional difference between a wire-based phone call and a wireless phone call, so they should be taxed the same way. Cellular providers have chosen to pass the tax to their consumers. They could have chosen to absorb all or some of the tax as a cost of doing business.

We hope it doesn't come to that. But, at the end of the day, we cannot put the port (of Philadelphia) at an economic disadvantage.
