The governor has directed Commissioner Boyle to tighten the communications plan among state agencies so there is better and faster communication in an emergency.

Gov. Rell feels Len Boyle is doing a superb job as commissioner. The governor understands and shares many of the budget frustrations - but at her initiative, the state police will finally have a full complement of 1,248 troopers in 2006.

She put her arm around the young driver and reassured her the important thing is everyone is OK and cars can always be repaired. The girl apparently told her that she had hoped to meet the governor someday, but not under those circumstances.

The governor appreciates the General Assembly's efforts to help clarify her authority over the flag in this situation.

Anything that can be done to tighten and strengthen our laws regarding sexual predators and sexual offenders - especially after they have been released from prison - will be given serious consideration.

The governor appreciates the fact the NLDC has done the right thing and sent out this new round of letters. It was unfortunate it had to come to this.
