The gun lobby finds waiting periods inconvenient. You have only to ask my husband how inconvenient he finds his wheelchair from time to time.

I'm not used to being physical in a wheelchair, so I have to get used to that. But other than that, I like it.

I'm waiting for him to come off the plane, and he comes off in a wheelchair. I'm in the tank, and he's picking me up, telling me, 'Hey, Coach. Don't worry about me, I'm going to be fine. I'll be coming back from this thing faster than anybody ever has,' ... This guy does have a single-minded focus on things of this nature. When he puts his mind to something, he usually gets it. So, I can see him coming back from this, very much.

Our biggest fear is because of the power of the gun lobby in Canada, we are going to see gun control dismantled.

I'll be waiting with a gun and a pack of sandwiches,and nothing.

Whatever we are waiting for -- peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance -- it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart.
