The important matter is freedom. When the people choose what they want, it is good for them and for us.

We want all the Palestinians back in their homeland, and then there can be a fair referendum for people to choose the form of state they want. Whoever gets the majority can rule.

We are not seeking a confrontation but, if it is imposed on us, we are prepared for it. The consequences of such an attack will be very grave and they [the Americans] will not benefit from it.

Iran is determined to use peaceful nuclear technology and no intimidation or threat can make us give it up.

We do not discount the possibility of US aggression under any circumstance; we stress at the same time that it would not be in the interest of the United States, nor us.

With wisdom we will get our rights, and if they create any trouble for us, they will regret it in the end and Iran will emerge triumphant.
