The initial purpose of the league was to give our local, deserving stars the opportunity of national attention right here in their own backyards.

We all have a right to speak our minds. This gives the residents of this county an opportunity to speak.

We don't see that happening right now. This is an opportunity for GM to unveil some not-so-pleasant news and get it over with, but in the next few years we see sales being relatively strong.

Historians pay attention to monumental buildings and famous architects, in Chicago and elsewhere. The everyday residential environments are typically completely ignored.

This is a unique convergence of opportunity. We worked with the community and evaluated all its concerns. After numerous discussions, we have developed a plan that is the best alternative for these two properties and one which will reduce the tax burden to the community.

What we have here is another attempt to deflect attention from the opportunity we have to improve our highway infrastructure and our economy.
