The injury will not affect my future in competition. The ligament on the left leg is a little bit sprained.

It is an ankle injury but not a ligament problem. It is bone bruising.

My biggest relief was when I found out it wasn't a torn ligament. Not that the other injury is better, but a ligament injury is a long injury. I was a little bit afraid that we were in that realm.

He's not happy at all about that leg injury. Like he said, 'I've busted my tail. I've worked hard. I don't need nothing like this to happen.' But at the same time, it's early. He ain't going to miss that much time. Who cares if you give him another week or so?

I've spoken to Wayne and he is a bit down but the injury is not too bad and it certainly won't rule him out of the World Cup.

I'm so pleased with this. It is totally unexpected for me coming after the injury. The ligament problem meant I had to be cautious and maybe in a way that helped me because I was quite relaxed.
