The Internet is an empowering force for people who are protesting against the abuse of power.

The potential for the abuse of power through digital networks - upon which we the people now depend for nearly everything, including our politics - is one of the most insidious threats to democracy in the Internet age.

There is no greater breach of the public trust than knowingly misleading the country into war. In a democracy, we simply cannot tolerate the abuse of this trust by the government.

What I fear most is power with impunity. I fear abuse of power, and the power to abuse.

Liberty may be endangered by the abuse of liberty, but also by the abuse of power.

This is really an abuse of power. PETA and other groups are really being targeted because we are being social activists and engaging in free speech. This is un-American and unconstitutional and contrary to the interests of any definition of a healthy democracy.
