The kids already had an idea of us as parents. They already saw pictures of us and our house, so they already knew a little about us and they were looking forward to having a family.

I'm so grateful to my mother for helping us out while we went through all of the paperwork. We wouldn't have been able to do it without her.

We were only authorized to adopt two children by the government. But the three of them were sisters. We didn't want to break them up and people didn't usually want to adopt three children at once. So we went down there crossing our fingers and hoping they would allow us to bring them all back.

Their parents still need care and it's important for us to provide that wholesome place for kids to come and participate in activities.

They left my kids without a father.

The last 10 days have been awful, because now I have to raise my kids on my own. They think because they wear a badge, they have the right. But they need to understand that we all have rights.
