The kids are great drivers, ... They were all well behaved and it's my pleasure to give these kids the same opportunities I had when I was young.

The kids were well behaved and enthusiastic. That makes it rewarding for us, to look at the kids and know they want to be here.

They are a nice group of kids. Overlooked? No, they know what they are doing out there. Let me tell you, these kids have a lot to be proud of. It is a surprise they are this good this year.

The program is set up to encourage kids to read for pleasure and to target kids who may not have had the opportunity to pet or be around horses.

The bottom line is we should take pleasure in the fact American kids are doing better in math. Math achievement is going up in the United States in the long term. It is not, however, where kids in the United States ought to be.

April 7 is the day after my son's birthday. This hits home, especially if you're raising kids of your own. I could only imagine what this brave girl's family is going through.
