The kids got to play against teams from all over the country, from Portland to Miami and L.A. to Vermont. They were always willing to hop in the van and head out to play.

Our kids played solid for 32 minutes. That was the key. Anytime you play well for 32 minutes, good things will happen. We have played a lot of good quarters and halves this year, but we put it together for the whole game this time.

We turned a nice 6-4-3 double play, and the kids were just hungry.

The kids really wanted it. When we play that hard, we are awfully tough to beat.

They shoot well, and have a bunch of kids who play hard and smart.

The kids are young, and they're just starting to play as a team. That's a good way to end up a week.
