The kids just have a place where they go, where their parents went to school, grandparents went to school. It's got tradition you can't replace by moving them somewhere else.

Another great benefit of the program is that parents can designate a child's school, and grandparents, aunts and uncles can also participate. Even neighbors can select a local school and participate in the program.

Parents are so busy running the kids around to activities, if we could also tell grandparents and aunts and uncles, it would help.

We have those indicators that kids are buying into the magnet school concept and that parents are supporting the magnet school concept.
