The kids wrestled hard tonight.

Overall I'm real pleased at the way we wrestled and how my kids responded to some good competition, I think the kids are continuing to move in the right direction. Right now we've got to keep our focus and take it one match at a time, and concentrate on Laurel Highlands, Friday.

We're a young team with only two senior starters.

We knew it was going to be a tough match coming in, because Elizabeth-Forward matches up well with us. We were able to pull out a couple of matches that could have gone either way. We stayed off our backs; that was real important and we were able to bump a couple of kids around that secured a win for us.

The kids kept battling and didn't quit. I'm real proud of them. They found a way to do it.

That was all it took to get a spark going and let our kids know that this game wasn't over and we were still in it.
