The last game, we didn't start off well. We let them drive down the field and score a touchdown, and that's something we can't do.

I think we do still have to prove that we can sustain a long drive and score a touchdown. But what are you going to do? Tell the kids not to score?

Chris should have gotten him out of bounds. You can't let them score the touchdown. We have to make them line up on the 10-yard line or whatever and try to get it in from there. That's why we have a free safety. We can't let that happen. That was one of the disappointing things we had [against Detroit].

We let them take the opening kickoff and drive it in for a touchdown. But after that, we really held them down. They got a long run toward the end of the game when we had our younger players in, and that accounted for about 80 yards of their offense.

I think it is what it is -- we come out and we play well early in the game and then just let it slip away late in the game. It is second team, third team. What we're looking at is when our starters are in there, we're doing a good job.

We won our first game last week and didn't score an offensive touchdown. We worked more on the offense this week in practice. We had to clean up a lot.
