The main problem is there isn't enough money to pay teachers adequately.

We were lagging behind. We saw that there wasn't even accessible data to teachers that would help them raise test scores in the district. We needed to upgrade the technology.

We have to compete for the best teachers. We don't have enough money to compete very effectively, and so we've got to be creative.

A lot of the districts aren't going to have money to pay their teachers come July if they don't do something.

The better the individual teachers are with the computers, the more they will use them in the classroom...and the more the kids will learn.

It gives the students an opportunity to work with teachers in an entirely different way.
