The maturity of my kids made the difference tonight. Jon played patiently and just kept working, and his teammates played big.

Our kids played with 150 percent of their heart. They never gave up and their want to win was there. We made it (to state) this year for the first time, and hopefully we'll be back next year and we can write our name on the trophy.

The kids are resilient. They're moving on. They're handling it better than the adults. They're exhibiting a level of maturity that makes me proud.

These type of kids don't fit into a normal summer camp. It's very intensive. It's about each one of the individual children. The important dynamic of the camp is to make them feel special.

I've actually been the guy who has taken these kids out of their homes.

It's a clever move, they don't want to directly confront the regime.
