The Mexican people contribute to the community through their work. They pay rent or own houses; they buy food in the community.

We're here to work. We're doing this to build our own houses in Mexico.

We are also making some food to distribute to people.

I just love the people of San Marcos. I just want to be more involved with this growing community. I want to have a voice here.

With this job I get to cover three important areas ? community, clinical and food service. I get to work with students in the mornings and with doctors and the community in the evening. What more could I ask for?

We came here knowing that it wouldn't work, but there are still a lot of people who hold stereotypes and we want to keep fighting.
