The money would be money very well spent.

We've already set aside money for recruiting. We've been talking to principals for several years about going to job fairs and connecting with the colleges. Not all teachers will be brand new; we want to lure experienced ones from the other districts. For that, we have, for the last few years, focused on getting our teachers' salary schedule competitive.

That's a lot of money you are talking about between an increase in their retirement check and medical benefits.

Individuals interested in donating can call The Bridge. We do still need food, paper products, money, cleaning supplies - if people could call and coordinate donations. People loved donating clothing to The Bridge - it was an avenue; if they could put their focus on collecting cleaning supplies - toilet paper, food etc. - these items are a priority.

As far as how it will go only the future will determine. I can't say or guarantee nothing will happen.

Hopefully during the next two to three years what is coming out of this design for Town Center would have progressed to the point where we know what we're doing.
