The most critical issue we have on the table is the issue of job security. What we're saying to our members is if they don't have a job, it does no good to negotiate wages and benefits and pensions.

Once this is adopted, it would be difficult for the Security Council to turn the other way and to once again close its eyes to flagrant atrocities. We expect this to bring with it early warning systems, so we can prevent a conflict from reaching the point where there would have to be armed intervention.

Many companies accept publicly available information such as a Social Security number as a means of [partly] authenticating a user. This is a typical policy problem where government, law enforcement and the technology industry need to work together to encourage proper authentication methods.
