The need was there. There was a common goal, preserve and promote the values, ideals, culture and philosophy of Hinduism. The decision was easy. It was decided to build a Hindu place of worship.

The purifications are very important because they make sure the idol is complete.

With the dedication, determination and relentless efforts of an ever increasing number of devotees and volunteers of all ages, this temple will become will soon become a focal point for Hindus in North Texas to congregate and practice their faith.

This is the infusion of life into the idol or invoking the divinity in to the idol. Until this is done, the idol remains a sculpture.

The discussion centered around how nice the group prayer was and how wonderful it would be if there was a local place of worship.
