The news that comes out of Pakistan is always geared toward terrorism and fundamentalism. But when you give people freedom of expression and the freedom to go out and be social and to express themselves, you will see a change. I see that coming about in my country.

I certainly was one of the instigators in the 1960s of freedom of expression.

If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all.

It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from - if you put quality work out there, it will be appreciated.

Freedom of expression is very important.

Man must be able to think freely and he must be able to express his thoughts freely! He who is against this is not only fascist and primitive but at the same time is a very great coward also! Only the brave and the honourable men are never afraid of freedom of thought and freedom of expression of ideas! Just like the cockroaches do not like the light, evil minds also do not like the freedom of thoughts!
