The one time I had a moment of clarity was when my mom told me my soul was dying. I remember just screaming inside, but outside nothing would come out. [In my head I was saying] just help me, help me. But i couldn't say it.

I kinda realized like ok. I got another chance.

I thought she was just gonna bring me home to die. That was my thinking. I don't wanna die here. I wanna go home. She shows up with an ambulance and the cops and i freaked out on her because that's not what I wanted. The last thing you want is cops at a drug house.

You feel like the bad feelings inside of you are gone. They go away. You're just on this big high, big rush.

I love being on the Yard, the atmosphere is energizing yet calming at the same time.
