The only hard-and-fast rules a Perot must operate under are getting a sound education; being honest and ethical in our business dealings; treating the people who work for us with respect and dignity; and, finally, a Perot cannot be afraid to take risks when appropriate.

Being honest with the public is how they respect you.

Being honest to self makes the life full of satisfaction.

Punishing honest mistakes stifles creativity. I want people moving and shaking the earth and they're going to make mistakes.

Being honest is my job. That's what music is for me.

In terms of getting people to experiment more and take more risk, there are at least three things that immediately come to my mind. Number one, of course, is role-modeling it yourself. Number two is, when people take intelligent, smart risks and yet it doesn't work out, not shooting them. And number three, being honest with yourself.
