The opportunity to have a day-to-day impact on people's lives. It's great having more control of my schedule, but I miss the opportunity to engage in making policies that affect people's lives.

The issue is going to be what is the impact on the salary schedule? Is the rest of the scale going to have to be adjusted correspondingly?

I would have brought something different and unique. But they wanted someone with administrative experience, someone who had run an institution.

I don't know of anyone who would actually change their vote because someone gave them a campaign contribution or not. They will however be more likely to take calls from someone who made a significant campaign contribution and listen to their case.

He was not a mentally ill person, raging out of control. He's a calculating individual who waited for his opportunity.

You have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the lives of the people with whom you work and live. Make the most of it.
