It gave us more confidence in ourselves.

People want to do good things, they just need a prod sometimes, and what Twitter and other technologies that connect people are showing us is that if you make it a little easier for people then you will enable them to do what they want to do, to help people out, to form groups and do good.

This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

This gives us something to make us feel better about ourselves. What has happened so far no longer matters. It's a new season.

I think the good thing is we have (Notre Dame's former) staff. They've told us a lot about them. We went over it (Sunday) and they told us what they like to do, that'll help a little bit. We'll know their strengths and weaknesses and, hopefully, what they like to do.
