The past five to 10 years, Maine and BC have played a lot of big games. It's a testament to the two programs and what they put into [their hockey programs].

We played pretty well, considering this was the ultimate road game.

[The game against BC] is real important, ... A lot of guys feel it's a big challenge that awaits us.

I knew they'd be out early, that they'd come out and bully us and if they got ahead, bury us. I kind of put it on myself to make sure we came out no worse than 1-0, at best tied.

We want it. It's so prestigious and something you'll always remember if you win it. That's the first of many goals we have for ourselves this season.
