The Pentagon has instituted this policy to say to the current troops that if you go AWOL you will be hunted down to the grave.

I think they were trying to send a signal to young Marines that if they go, they will be followed to their graves by the Marine Corps.

My view is that the Marines are trying to send a message to people in the ranks today that they, too, will be required to participate in a war, whether they think it's illegal or immoral.

It doesn't seem to be the case. It looks like it's full speed ahead in putting the elderly and the infirm in the military brigs around the country.

On September 18, the troops will be withdrawn from their posts because we want to see the decommissioning process first.

Even if they send pure Muslim or Arab troops we will consider them invaders and will fight them.
