The people of this country, not special interest big money, should be the source of all political power.

[On ABC's] This Week, ... too many people in the country are either not old enough for Medicare, ... or they're not poor enough for Medicaid and they're not fortunate enough to have a good health insurance plan.

Politics is not about power.

Politics is about the improvement of people's lives. It's about advancing the cause of peace and justice in our country and the world. Politics is about doing well for the people.

People have expressed a keen interest in getting out there. Cancer is a big killer in this country. Any money we can raise to help scientists, doctors and researchers learn more about it and find ways to fight it the better off we are. That's our goal.

The interest in solar power in Silicon Valley is higher than almost anywhere in the country.
