The photos and videos play a key role in ensuring government accountability for the torture that happened,

The U.S. government unfairly deported thousands of immigrants after the Sept. 11 attacks, simply because they were from Muslim countries, and were at the wrong place at the wrong time. For each, there was a network of children, parents, siblings, neighbours and community who depended on him.

It's a historic ruling. While no one wants to see what's on the photos or videos, they will play an essential role in holding our government leaders accountable for the torture that's happened on their watch.

We regret that we have to bring this lawsuit to force our government to live up to American values.
