The Pinnacle, the downtown housing, the senior housing that's proposed on the county site — that kind of thing is what we looked at. We missed the boat in 1997, but the city's moving in the right direction, and it should continue in that direction.

There's far greater demand now in Kent County for housing than there is current supply and that has driven the price up.

It's a very ambitious plan and a very good plan for the town. We need senior housing in town, and this has a very nice village feel to it.

It is a fairly centralized downtown location, central to the proposed condos. It won't necessarily be convenient for everybody, though. At the end of the day, somebody may have to get into his car to go grocery shopping.
