The plane is a mess. The tip tank came off. The props are bent and there's no landing gear.

I'm waiting for him to come off the plane, and he comes off in a wheelchair. I'm in the tank, and he's picking me up, telling me, 'Hey, Coach. Don't worry about me, I'm going to be fine. I'll be coming back from this thing faster than anybody ever has,' ... This guy does have a single-minded focus on things of this nature. When he puts his mind to something, he usually gets it. So, I can see him coming back from this, very much.

The plane did not skid on the runway. This was a smooth landing.

There was no hurry to get the plane on the ground.

There's no real side to be on because I think it was a mess.

I like the fact that he bent a little bit but didn't break. That's the whole issue. There was no big inning to be had. He stayed out of the big inning, and that is why he ended up getting the win. Pure and simple. I like the way he hung in there, and that's something for him to build on.
