The portal is a way for us to learn what [small and medium-size] customers want. As an operator, we benefit from increasing data traffic over our networks.

We did make some changes. It is affecting a number of people. What it is all about is updating and refreshing our entertainment.

I think we have the best weekly newspaper in the Houston region. Our readers tell us over and over (although we never get tired of hearing it) that they love the Observer . We love it too!

Given the climate right now, naturally, I think all of us are taking a close look at lobbyists and the kind of relationships they have with legislators. There's nothing illegal about this . . . (but) it does raise questions about how cozy these relationships get.

It will give us a chance to look at all three of our pitchers. It will be very good for us.

The day for people to just give us things is over. We have to stand up for ourselves. We have to help ourselves. Where we have to start as a people is to take pride in us - start with helping us.
