The problem is, [parents] don't understand how little time it takes to accumulate quite a bit of money.

For a lot of parents, it just seems like there are other concerns. They focus on education and staying out of trouble and by doing that they somehow believe that [financial security] will take care of itself.

It is a sensitive time, but the parents are very good. There's always one of them there.

The massive amounts of money they're spending means we can't get out of the way of it. Every time you turn around, there's a nasty new TV spot.

I didn't inquire about any costs. If I did that, I wouldn't have had time to raise money.

There's something about your child's child that just makes you want to spend money. From the parents point of view, its a wonderful thing, too, unless you run into a situation where the grandparents are buying things that you don't want.
