The process [thus far] went well. It has been hard with the diminishing support that we've received from the student body, but we are holding elections to the best of our abilities.

The commission itself can't do the advertising we'd like. Now we're relying on the candidates.

The debates are a chance for the candidates to defend their platform statements and goals. While a candidate may look real nice on paper, it's an entirely different thing to get up there and defend their goals.

it doesn't look like that is going to happen by anything we've heard thus far.

We are pleased to have received such broad support from the employer community. No one payer can implement this program alone and not only employers, but health plans have recognized that this is an important investment to make.

It is recognition for a job well done thus far. And that is the key, thus far.
