The program is a hybrid of academic and student affairs. It bridges that divide while reaching out to the community.

I see the Surf Club growing in size as well as being more active in community. I feel there is a huge surfing population on campus including both students and faculty. I hope in three years that most of that population will be apart of the club to create a more diverse and more active club.

But sharing is not going to get any easier if there is more theater. We do want community theater. We want good, strong, positive community theater... it is really not a financial consideration. For us it's a space allocation issue.

If you look around, our community has become more diverse in a lot of ways. There's something new happening here and we ought to pay attention.

I think the community is definitely strong enough to be able to handle something like this, as bad as it is.

Being a community, coming together and organizing is just so important in terms of getting to where you want to be.
