The roof leaked during the other hurricanes and there are only three showers for all of us to use. It is definitely overcrowded.

Let's face it, there are only so many roads you can use in Florida. There is little we can do when it comes to roads in this state. We can only do what we can.

I would argue our whole building is inadequate. We cannot continue to operate out of it.

It would heat the water so hot you couldn't take showers.

We responded to the hurricanes with between 200 and 250 medical, security and logistic support personnel as well as aircraft from the Army and Air Guard sides. This was huge for us because it came two weeks after the BRAC decided to take us off the base closure list, which would have taken the C-130s used to help following Katrina.
