The run [in the third quarter] killed us. Because now we were in catch-up mode and the clock was running. We just weren't knocking down shots.

I hope people understand how stupid segregation is. People should never judge a book by its color. Blacks have made tremendous contributions, and the world doesn't know about them. Black history should be integrated with American history.

I thought if we knocked down our free throws it would have been a better ball game. We had our chances down the stretch, we just missed our opportunities.

We were fortunate to get an early lead and keep the crowd out of the game. Our offense really set the tone for us and our defense showed them a bit of everything to keep them off balance all night long.

It does offer us the job protections that have eluded us since this merger was announced.

Distant disasters shouldn't have any effect on us here, but unfortunately they do. It is like the trickle down effect. Big oil companies use them as a band wagon to raise their prices.
