The same resources are not equal in the same schools. Parents should have choices.

I think most parents are satisfied with the neighborhood schools. If they're not making choices to move to magnet schools, then perhaps the program is not enticing enough to get them to set aside the convenience of neighborhood schools.... For example, bus rides (to magnet schools) are over 45 minutes each way. It is a great impediment to people making that choice.

Most people don't even know that their vehicles are flex fuel. When people find out the price difference, ethanol could really grow in this area.

Our goal is to say (to prospective alternative fuel companies): We're in the middle of the state and we use it, so locate here.

Many parents, you could offer all types of choices, and they're going to choose what is most convenient.

It's a very easy way for parents to contribute to their local schools.
