The same tickets that were $60 a ticket are a thousand dollars a ticket. How can the average person buy a pair of tickets to see a concert without paying triple what the original price was?

We spend, on average, a couple of hundred thousand dollars an episode, which is a fraction of what the networks spend on dramas, ... We sort of look at these documentaries as cable's version of the drama.

Thirty thousand dollars is 180,000 rand. And $180,000 is a lot more than that over there.

Our challenge is to get someone who has never been to the festival to buy a ticket for a show that they haven't been to before, artists that they don't know. But that's our reputation now. People hadn't heard of Todd Snider before we brought him here and the people who keep coming expect that. They will find something new that they loved by the time the weekend is over.

If you had to buy a ticket to each of these musicals, you'd have to spend $2,000 or something.
