The season was great to me because we battled through so much adversity and still had a positive year. They tried suspending our seniors, then our coach, then injuries plagued us, but through it all, we stuck together.

We faced some adversity, and to respond in a positive way, that's good for everybody. Hopefully we learned something about ourselves.

Every time we've had adversity, we've responded. That's one of the unique things about this team. When you have the unselfishness that they have, you're willing to step it up.

In my opinion, the cancer had physiologically no negative or positive effect.

It's like we took our aggressions and shaped something positive from them in a very direct manner. Though we'd qualify most of the record as hard-driving, the two quiet ones (Parachutes and Come Back) could be our best attempts yet at pulling the disguises off of loss of life, and even love.

Coach Edwards is the best coach in IUP history right now.
