The second time wasn't much better. But we're catching up to those guys. The Rio Grande Valley as a whole is catching up to the schools in Houston and San Antonio. Who knows, maybe the third time is the charm.

We have absolutely nothing to hold our heads down about. We played our hearts out.

But at the same time he understands he's going to have to earn his playing time. We have some very good quarterbacks on campus already, so we'll play the best and see what happens.

It was time. I'm excited for the new arena. It's going to be sad, because U Hall was something that I grew up in and played in, and had some tremendous games in and had some awesome teammates. And so that will be sad. But I'm glad to see the progress and commitment they've made to building the new arena - to really get the basketball program moving forward.

I don't think this means that Europe is moving forward on creating a data retention law any time soon. I think the chances are still slim at best. This latest plan only further muddies the issue.

You really get to know someone when you're put together like that for that length of time. He's still with us. He's alive and in recovery.
