The Senators came to Jackson when we had no professional baseball and when many people thought we'd never have it again. From beginning to end, they did a professional job and put a quality product on the field.

They wanted to meet with the senators and they had all of their people together in one location and so they got him out there to meet with him. I don't think they get any more access than anyone else does.

I thought for sure the government at some level would have solved my problems for me, but since that doesn't look like it's going to happen, we have to go this route.

I've always thought about pursuing baseball because it's always what I've wanted. I wouldn't be coming to Somerset if I didn't want to.

My first thought process was just keep it in the yard. Eighteen innings of baseball. That's unbelievable for two teams to go at it like that. It's the best game I've ever been a part of. I just want to keep learning and learning.

People don't really want to believe this, but it's baseball. You get used to it. You play 162 games. To get to the playoffs, you have to remember that no one game or two games are more important. It's hard to understand, but that's baseball.
