The seniors did this. The seniors would not allow it to be the way it was coming out of (Temple) Feb. 14. They have my greatest admiration.

It's very, very disappointing because of our toughness. We showed it in the first half, and then for 12 minutes in the second half there was none. There was a bunch of little boys running around out there.

We let Robinson, who I think is having a wonderful, wonderful year and who I think is the most improved player in the Atlantic 10, loose in the first half. That was the only defensive slipup we had.

That's a monumental win in this league. St. Louis players looked a little tired. Emotionally that tires you out, and we were able to take advantage of that.

When you get physically intimidated in that way, mentally you kind of, like, crack. That's what I felt happened the first eight minutes. It sure seemed like they had more than five guys, and we had less than five out there at that time.

When the ball doesn't go in the basket, you start hoping you can get out of town under the cloak of darkness. Confidence has dwindled here. We'll see whether the second half against La Salle has energized and picked up their emotional level. We've put ourselves in a precarious situation in terms of the league.
