The seven shots are not representative. We created a lot of good opportunities, and I'm sure I'll go over each and every one tonight, but we just missed the net.

It was a great game. It was a great semifinal game in a great environment. We came up short, but it doesn't take away from what this team accomplished since Jan. 7, the day we lost, 8-1, to St. Edward. And since that day, they've played extremely well.

They're the best and deepest team we've faced in Ohio. They have three lines that you have to worry about. You don't win 31 games by accident.

They should hold their heads up high. To be 25-6-3 is nothing to be ashamed of. I've been in their shoes, when all the pressure is on you, and they handled it all season remarkably well.

We played well tonight. We played well in all aspects.

This feels great. We knew it was going to be a battle. In a district final, you know it's going to be a battle, and it wasn't anything less than that.
