The spirit, the sportsmanship during the Games ... she loves that kind of stuff.

She has the true combination of a champion. They're hard to find, I'll tell you that.

She has the capability to suffer. When everybody else is falling off the pace ... when a race gets really tough, she just keeps going.

When I first came here there was practically no spirit, nobody went to the games.

This whole medal count is, in my opinion, not really in the spirit of the Olympic Games. It just kind of has evolved that way and countries seem to derive some kind of satisfaction or disappointment based on the medal count. I have no control over that. It's a big risk to go and put yourself out there, in front of the world, to either fail or succeed.

There are 13 games left, ... We have to have a little spirit, and we have to go play.
