The sport is just so captivating. It's so hard to master the sport and when you are playing it takes all your efforts and your thoughts. The game is so fast and competition so strong, you can't be thinking about anything else.

It was a do-or-die game.

Both clubs have been very good about working around my schedule, which allows me to play for both teams.

Your life depends on a random stranger who could kill you, will probably disrespect you, and will most likely pay you much less than you deserve. But even those prospects are better than the ones you used to have. This is the life of los jornaleros – the day laborers.

Of course it's offensive. That's the Mexican that's been in the minds of Americans for many years. By running it week after week, it loses its power.

Once they put me on the air, they realize I'm not about bashing Mexicans. I'm about ending hatred and racism against Mexicans.
